Stephane Marchand to be arraigned May 5 for Felony Burglary Print E-mail

Stephane Roger Marchand, 43 of Ladera Ranch will be arraigned in Orange County Superior Court on May 5, 2011 for a burglary he allegedly committed on February 5 on Mill Ridge Farm in Ladera Ranch.  The Orange County District Attorney's office said that Marchand is accused of taking electronics and gardening equipment.

This is the same Stephane Marchand that many Ladera residents have complained about on LaderaPortal and LaderaLife message boards since May of 2010, when he sent a mass e-mail titled: "To all Ladera Ranch Families: PLEASE READ THIS E-MAIL", in which he advertised an "attorney network" that would force your lender to give you a 30-year fixed loan for as little at 1%.

Others received e-mails from him offering to create an "Alias Credit File" that he claimed was "100% LEGAL & LEGETIMATE! 100% EFFECTIVE!" where you get to pick a new name and get a 735+ credit score.

On one occasion, he sent a seemingly less illegitimate SPAM email blast advertising his wife's new Monavie multi-level marketing Acai berry juice franchise.

Then on February 18 of this year, less than two weeks after his alleged burglary, Marchand was sued for over $100,000 by an Anaheim school guidance counselor who was led to believe that he was investing money in "Altitude Entertainment", a company that Marchand allegedly bought and planned to take public through a reverse merger.  The complaint from the guidance counsellor says that Marchand took investors money and paid himself for such luxury items as a trip to Hawaii and a new Rolex.

In a series of long-running rants on LaderaPortal.com under various aliases, Marchand posted documents associated with the allegedly fraudulent business venture, including a copy of one of the checks paid to him by the plaintiff and cashiers checks paid to himself from the company bank account.  You can't make this stuff up.  He actually put it all online.

In late-breaking news, Marchand's wife Nicole was arrested Monday April 25th after a domestic dispute reported by Stephane.  Two OC Sheriff deputies arrived at the house off University and took Mrs. Marchand into custody shortly after Mr. Marchand returned home.
