 The Ladera Ranch Maintenance Corporation (LARMAC) has issued new changes to the Community Guidelines that go into effect July 1. A CD-ROM containing these changes has been mailed to homeowners. Any homeowner who wishes to receive a paper copy may obtain one at the LARMAC offices at the Avendale Clubhouse for a minimal cost for copies. PARKING: Any prohibited vehicles (boats, commercial vehicles, motorhomes, trailers, etc.) parked upon any public street in Ladera Ranch for more than 36 hours at a time and more than 72 hours in any continuous 30 day period will be cited and possibly fined under the covenant process. Any resulting fines will be attached to the homeowner association account for the property associated with the vehicle. LARMAC can tow vehicles parked on LARMAC property (clubhouse parking lots, etc.) if they are left for more than 12 hours. Vehicles in Covenant Hills are on private property and LARMAC can tow violating vehicles after 36 hours. MOTORIZED VEHICLES ON FIELDS AND TRAILS: Motorized vehicles of any type (including golf carts, NEV's, quads, or any other vehicle matching the DMV definition of “motor vehicle” is prohibited from driving upon the fields and trails in Ladera Ranch without explicit written permission from LARMAC. Permission may be granted for vendors at events, for instance, but no blanket permission is given. This includes all LARMAC covered property, including SCE roads under the power lines and all trails. SKATEPARK GUIDELINES: Skatepark Access Cards, which were previously $5 for the life of the card, will now expire upon the bearer's next birthday and the annual cost to renew the card will be $5. Cards can be renewed during normal working hours at the LARMAC offices at the Avendale Clubhouse.
