CAPISTRANO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT TWO-WAY PROGRAM

As the Two-Way Program Open Enrollment Period opens for the 2012-2013 school year, many of you will be making important decisions about the placement of your Kindergarten age child into an elementary school program. Children must be 5 years old by November 2, 2012 in order to apply. We invite you to come and learn all about the Open Enrollment process for the Two Way Language Immersion Program.

Students participating in the Spanish Two-Way Immersion Program receive instruction in both Spanish and English to develop linguistic and academic competence in both languages. Students from the two language groups (native English and native Spanish speakers) attend class together, learn from one another and support each other's second language acquisition.

The Two-Way Spanish Immersion Program is offered at 3 school sites: Las Palmas Elementary, San Juan Elementary, and Viejo Elementary. This is a very popular program and space is limited. Register with a school site to attend an informational meeting and tour.
